Wednesday Review-a-thon (Crap, I almost wrote Review-a-thong. That would be a totally different blog post)


I love Wednesdays. Yeah, I know, next to Monday, Wednesdays are probably the most loathed day of the week. They tend to remind us that we are only halfway through the work week and must wade through a few more days until the weekend. However, I have a fondness for the misjudged middle of the week. Not only is it spelled in a really cool way, but it’s fun to say. Also, the local farmer’s market is held on Wednesdays. What’s not to love about a trip to visit the regional vendors to score some bitchin’ fresh-from-the farm produce?

Day 110: The Wolfman (2010): Or, What the Heck? I Trusted You, Benicio Del Toro!


I have a thing for horror movies. Not mindlessly gory films, mind you; but just good, scary movies. I am especially fond of the “classic” scary films—those that involve ghosts, vampires, and werewolves. Now, my husband will say that a good zombie flick is the best type of creepy movie out there; but as for me, the werewolf films scared me the most.

Day 54: Sunshine Cleaning (2008)


I am waiting ever so patiently for the UPS truck to arrive. Ever so patient, I am. You see, the UPS truck has precious cargo—or at least, precious to me—Fallout: New Vegas. Now, I won’t waste your time talking about how psyched I am for this video game; I did enough of that yesterday. But still, I wait. To pass the time (and to knock off another title from the list), I watched Sunshine Cleaning. Yeah, I’ll be honest; I chose it because it was 91 minutes long. Hey, I have to save some of this motivation for Fallout, right?
